Editorial standards: how the content on this site gets made.

Business financing is a category where bad information costs real money. These are the rules our pages, guides, and research are written under — and the standard you should hold us to.

The rules

Six commitments, checkable on any page.

The boundary

What this content is, and is not.

Everything published on this site is educational content about commercial financing, written to help operators and finance leaders evaluate structures. It is not legal, tax, investment, or accounting advice, and it is not an offer or commitment to fund — approvals, pricing, and terms are always determined by underwriting of a specific business. Our own economics are disclosed plainly on how we work, because who pays the author is part of evaluating what the author says.

Hold us to it.

If a page on this site fails these standards, we want to hear about it — and if it meets them, it should have earned a conversation.
